Create Inner Stability

Changes

Life can bring unexpected change. Health can falter. Careers can get altered. Relationships get strained or break down. These moments feel daunting, and our familiar ways of coping may no longer feel sufficient.

In moments of change, we are called upon to grow into new ways of being. We may need to create more inner stability, new ways to reflect on a problem, or ways to trust, that despite it all, we’ll come through it in the ways we need.

Time to Grow

When life puts us at a crossroads, we can experience both disappointment and desire. We can recognize that something in our lives simply doesn’t work anymore. We can feel frustrated with our own ways of being, with our relationships, or with our circumstances.

If we allow ourselves these frustrations, we can notice that there might be something lying even deeper beneath the surface. Frustrations point us to an experience of what’s missing, and what’s missing can point us toward a poignant desire.

We all want to love and be loved. We all want to live satisfying and meaningful lives. We all want to feel whole and connected.

So, how do we get there? And where do we begin?

About the work
When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.
